The Riyad El Cadi is not a hotel with indistinguishable rooms, but a guest house where all rooms are individually created.You will not find the usual hotel bar or room service. But we try to serve our guests without their being aware of it - as if they stayed with friends. Our excellent cook contributes to your well-being with a large variety of traditional Moroccan and international dishes.

At Riyad El Cadi, a team of 15 - including Julia Bartels and Youssef Elharch - are on hand to cater to your every need.
Riyad El Cadi is situated in the heart of the Medina (Old Town), at the end of three cul-de-sacs.Thanks to our three entrances, you can reach all destinations in the Medina within a very short time.

Our 12 suites and rooms are spread out over five interconnected patios and differ in size and decor.

Your adventures in Marrakesh start right away at Riyad El Cadi.A tour through courtyards, staircases and corridors of seven traditional houses forming the Riyad El Cadi gives a good impression of the ancient and pure forms of traditional Moroccan architecture.

Three salons and alcoves are the ideal setting for reading, playing cards, dozing or having a sun-downer. Have your meals served in the courtyards or our dining room. Extensive terraces, equipped with tents and deckchairs, invite you to rest or sunbathe.
Early Berber textiles from our internationally renowned collection are exhibited all over the house and permit insights into the age-old civilization of Morocco‘s Berbers.
Important artefacts - early Anatolian Kilims or Ottoman embroideries, medieval Musharabiyas from Fez or classical Chinese furniture, modern paintings or rural Moroccan pottery - can be found in all of the rooms, corridors and staircases and contribute to the exceptional character of Riyad El Cadi.
All of these objects are in harmony and reveal art as a common language.
